Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to services supplied by High Street Digital. They are intended primarily for business clients, including companies, partnerships and sole traders purchasing for business purposes. If you are legally acting as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are not reduced.
Business: High Street Digital
Website: highstreetdigitalnorfolk.co.uk
Email: hello@highstreetdigitalnorfolk.co.uk
2. Our services
Services may include website design or refresh work, social-media management, Google Business Profile support, business-plan writing and related digital-business support. The exact scope, price, timescale and included revisions will be set out on the relevant webpage, proposal, quotation, invoice, questionnaire or written agreement.
3. Quotes, orders and acceptance
A quotation is not binding until we confirm acceptance. A contract is formed when we confirm your instruction, receive any required deposit or payment, or begin work with your agreement, whichever occurs first. Scope changes may require a revised quotation or agreed additional charge.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are those in the applicable quotation, package, invoice or written agreement.
- Deposits, staged payments and final-payment dates will be stated in the quotation or invoice.
- Invoices must be paid by the stated due date unless agreed otherwise.
- We may pause work or withhold final deliverables if an invoice is overdue, after reasonable notice.
- Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, premium software, stock assets, advertising spend or subscriptions are excluded unless expressly stated.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, materials, access and decisions reasonably needed. You are responsible for checking the accuracy and legality of supplied claims, prices, contact details, financial figures, permissions, licences and regulatory statements.
You confirm you have the right to provide and use any logos, photographs, copy, trademarks, testimonials, music, video or other materials supplied to us.
6. Timescales and delays
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly fixed in writing. Client delays in providing information, approvals, access or feedback may move delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party platforms, providers, registrars, outages or events outside our reasonable control.
7. Revisions, approvals and scope changes
Included revision rounds are determined by the package or quotation. One round means one reasonably consolidated list of changes. Additional revisions, redesigns or out-of-scope work may be quoted separately. Approved elements may be treated as final; later changes may be additional work.
8. Website services
- You must review and approve wording, images, prices, contact details, policies and factual content before launch.
- We will take reasonable care to build and test the website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, every device or browser, or continued third-party services.
- SEO, traffic, enquiries, sales, rankings and conversion results cannot be guaranteed.
- Domains, hosting and external accounts remain subject to provider terms and charges.
- Post-launch maintenance, edits, backups or support are included only where expressly stated.
9. Social-media and Google support
We will provide agreed content, scheduling, profile support or management with reasonable care and skill. Platforms control their algorithms, verification, reach, rankings, restrictions and policies, so follower growth, engagement, leads, search position, verification or commercial results cannot be guaranteed.
You remain responsible for approvals and for ensuring claims, offers, promotions, pricing and regulated statements are accurate and lawful.
10. Business plans and forecasts
Business plans use client-supplied information and research available at the time. Projections, forecasts, market estimates and forward-looking statements are illustrative estimates, not guarantees. High Street Digital does not provide legal, accounting, tax, regulated financial or investment advice and cannot guarantee funding, loans, grants, investment, profitability or business success.
You must verify facts and assumptions before submitting a plan to any third party and obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
11. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of materials you owned and supplied. Third-party materials remain subject to their licences. High Street Digital retains its pre-existing know-how, templates, methods, reusable components and tools.
Subject to full payment, you may use final agreed deliverables for their commissioned purpose. Any broader transfer must be expressly agreed in writing. Drafts, unused concepts and working files are not transferred unless specifically agreed.
12. Portfolio and publicity
We will only feature your project, name, logo, testimonial or results publicly where we have permission or another lawful basis clearly applies. You can tell us if you do not want a project featured.
13. Cancellation and termination
Either party may end a project where the other commits a serious breach and does not remedy it within a reasonable period after notice. You may cancel in writing but remain responsible for agreed third-party costs and work reasonably completed, subject to statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer: where distance-selling rules apply, you may normally have a 14-day cancellation period. If you ask us to begin during that period and later cancel, you may have to pay a reasonable amount for work supplied. If the service is fully performed after the legally required request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end. We will not restrict rights given by law.
14. Suspension
We may temporarily suspend work because of overdue payment, missing information, security concerns, unlawful or prohibited content, platform abuse or another serious issue. We will normally explain why and, where appropriate, allow an opportunity to resolve it.
15. Liability
Nothing excludes or limits liability where unlawful, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by law, High Street Digital is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, anticipated profit, opportunity, or losses caused by third-party platforms, inaccurate client information or client changes after handover. For business clients, total liability for a service will normally be limited to the fees paid or payable for it, except where law disallows that limit.
16. Confidentiality and data protection
Each party should keep the other’s confidential information reasonably secure and use it only for the project or another agreed purpose. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and UK data-protection law.
17. Complaints
If you are unhappy, contact us promptly and explain the issue. We will review it and try to reach a practical resolution. This does not affect statutory rights.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms. The version applying to a project will normally be the version accepted when agreed, unless a later change is expressly agreed or required by law.
19. Governing law
These terms and disputes are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights applying to a consumer elsewhere in the UK.
